You can erase your DocSeva account and personal data at any time, directly from inside the app. This page describes how to do it, what gets deleted, what is anonymised and retained for legal/finance reasons, and how to reach us if you can’t access the app.

Quick path — the in-app button is the fastest way and runs the deletion immediately:
Open the app → Profile / Settings →
Account → Delete account →
type DELETE to confirm → tap Delete account.
DELETE in the confirmation box.The deletion runs immediately. You will see a confirmation message and be returned to the login screen. Your Firebase authentication record is removed at the same time, so you cannot accidentally sign in again.

We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with the DPDP Act grievance-redressal timeline.
Some data is hard-deleted; other data is anonymised — your name, contact details, and free-text notes are removed but the row is kept because Indian medical-record, tax, and payment-gateway regulations require us to retain transactional records for up to seven years.

The in-app deletion runs immediately. Backups containing the same data roll off on a routine schedule within 30 days. After this point, no copy of your personal data — including in archives — remains on our systems.
Indian tax law (Income Tax Act §44AA), medical-record-keeping guidelines, and payment-gateway compliance require us to retain certain transactional records for up to seven years. After account deletion we keep only the parts of those records that are needed to satisfy those obligations — with your name, contact details, and any free-text fields you wrote removed. The retained data cannot be used to identify you.
